Medley® Pure 300 L
Medley® Pure 300 L contains our complete album of five best-in-class stain-busting enzymes working in synergy.
Proteins, starches, pectins, gums and fats are found in many everyday stains. Medley® Pure 300 L targets them with a blend of protease, amylase, pectate lyase, mannanase and lipase enzymes.
Protease to target protein
Protein is found in sweat, blood, grass, chocolate, dairy products and milky drinks like tea, coffee and chai. Protease breaks down the protein in these stains, making it easier for the detergent to lift it from the fabric.
Amylase to target starch
Starch is a key ingredient of foods like ready-made sauces, baby foods, dressings and desserts. It also acts as a glue for other dirt particles in the air and in wash water, making starch stains even more noticeable. By breaking down starch, amylase helps the detergent wash away these stains.
Pectate lyase to target pectin
Fruit including berries, bananas and avocadoes, as well as many vegetables naturally contain high levels of pectin. Pectin is also added as a thickener to jams, jellies, yoghurt drinks and smoothies to thicken. It’s even used in some cosmetics. Pectate lyase breaks down pectin to help detergents remove all sorts of pectin stains.
Mannanase to target gum
Guar and locust bean gums are used in a wide range of foods including ice cream, mayonnaise and salad dressing. They’re also a common ingredient in personal care products like toothpaste and body lotions. Mannanase breaks down these gums to help detergents remove their sticky stains.
Lipase to target fat, oil and grease
From cheeseburgers to pad Thai, many fast food and street food dishes leave behind greasy stains that are slow to disappear. Greasy burgers, fries, pizzas and hot dogs are all common causes of oily stains, along with cooking oils like peanut, sunflower and sesame. Lipase breaks down fats and oils to help laundry detergents remove these stains.
Multi-enzyme synergy
Most everyday stains are multi-layered, with each element in the stain forming a layer. That means an enzyme’s access to its target element can be ‘blocked’. By clearing paths through the stain’s layers for one another, the enzymes in this product boost one another’s impact. The result is high performance on a wide range of everyday stains, along with color care and whiteness benefits.
