Licheninase enzymes target the stains left behind by foods containing high-fiber cereals. Licheninases break down the sticky carbohydrate known as beta-glucan that makes these stains so stubborn. Beta-glucan is found in many high-fiber cereals such as oats, barley and spelt. Globally, there is a trend towards incorporating more of these high-fiber cereals in diets. That makes licheninases a must for laundry detergents that aim to stay relevant to consumers’ changing diets and lifestyles.

Lift^® Intent 100 T is a licheninase that helps remove stains containing beta-glucan, even in cold washes.

Designed for tough conditions
Doing storage enzymes can loss activity over time when exposed to tough conditions.
In powder detergents high temperature, humidity or bleach exposure over longer periods may cause the enzymes to loss activity.
In liquid detergents enzymes are stable in the right mix of pH, water content, polyol content and protease inhibition. When exposed to high temperatures or if your formulation needs go beyond ideal conditions for the enzymes, enzyme activity could drop over time.
